How to Achieve and Maintain Good Health in Your Dog
Supporting the body to achieve and maintain good health (including how to reverse effects of ill-health), through natural, safe, ethical, and effective nutrition, nutritional supplements, and remedies.
We all want our dogs to be healthy and to be with us for many years. Sadly, dog ownership isn’t as simple as that. The following are amongst the most common illnesses you might see in your dog:
Illnesses in dogs are mostly caused by:

As we have sought to reduce viral and bacterial disease, there has been a corresponding increase in allergic and immune system illnesses in dogs (and humans). Why might this be, and how can you protect your dogs from viral disease, whilst at the same time avoiding and alleviating diseases that affect the immune system?
For example, a dog with arthritis will typically be prescribed powerful non-steroidal-anti-inflammatory (NSDAID) drugs. Although they can reduce pain, they can also cause kidney damage and even lead to death. Are there safer but effective alternatives? Which foods, nutrients and herbs will do the job without unwanted side-effects?
Similarly, if your dog is allergic, what’s behind it, and how can you help him long-term? Why might your dog have recurrent skin problems or ear infections, and how can you put a stop to them, rather than just manage the symptoms?
If you love dogs and want to know how to make your dog’s life so much better, join us for this really interesting and useful evening lecture by Catherine O’Driscoll, founder of Canine Health Concern and author of best-selling books on canine health.
