From the delegates in Canada:
It's been two - three weeks since we all convened at Arrowsmith Hall in Coombs or at the Executive Plaza in Coquitlam to take in all the great information Catherine O'Driscoll presented to us. I am still in awe of the great presentation by Catherine. ........ Wendy Galt.
I want to THANK YOU for an amazing weekend. I was thoroughly exhausted
(mentally) and totally thrived on all the information. .......... Maria Belrose.
I just wanted to let you all know how happy I was after attending Catherine's seminar in Coquitlam. I think it was a huge success.... Anne Whatcott.
I just wanted to thank you so much for suggesting that I attend the seminar. It contained a wealth of information and I’ll have to sit back and digest it all. I had been considering titre testing Chaos and this seminar has confirmed for me that this is the way to go. There are always two sides to a debate. And, it’s refreshing to hear the other side – the one that isn’t funded by the big corporates who have the money to dessiminate the information they only want you to hear. ......... Wendy Lau.
Thanks again for making the seminar possible. I hope people learned a lot from Catherine. ....... Dr Moira Drosdovech
The whole seminar was awesome ........ Janice Gunn.
Thanks again I really enjoyed it and found it to be very beneficial. ..... Suzan Thompson.
Thanks to all of you for hosting , and giving, such a great workshop weekend! Well organised, well run, and , Catherine, WELL SPOKEN! .......... Ann McPhee.
From the UK:
MY two collies - Bonnie and Leo - are so wonderful and so healthy on the BARF diet. I've also switched my 18 year old cat onto fresh fish and it is like he has been given an extra lease of life, fantastic at his age... he will be 18 in Feb, he has an overactive thyroid, and before going on fresh raw food, his coat was grey and dull, and we treated him as an elderly 'person', he slept a lot and was not jumping over fences, or up on to the worktops, he would wait until we lifted him up. Now, he's jumping fences, will be at the window ledges to beg to come in. His coat is smooth, shiny and has changed back to being a 'smokey black' colour, before his diet change it had gone quite reddish and dull. More importantly he plays with the dogs and has fun!!
I continue to sing praises about your books and the work you do.
love and best wishes

Thank you so much for such a fabulous course in stunning surroundings (at CHC in Scotland). We enjoyed it immensely and I'm sure we are now 'back on track' with what we have always believed was right. The food was lovely and all in all the weekend was excellent value for money. Warmest wishes, Jacqui and Robert.
Hi Everyone
I wanted to share with you all.
I took part in one of Catherine’s Canine Health Concern Foundation Certificates. I went thinking I had made a mistake. As you are all aware from my posts my knowledge of canine health matters is minimal. I thought I would be out of my depth, not understanding what was being discussed.
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised, more than that.... I was amazed. First of all at what I already knew and how valid it was in the scheme of 'vaccination' and 'diet' issues. Secondly how much I actually learnt in one weekend.
I am possibly like a few others on the list who lack the confidence to speak up and/or take action. I knew vaccinating was bad yet I still vaccinated my dogs a year ago (well slightly over BUT...). I knew pet food was not a 'natural' diet but still fed a 'quality' dried food!!!!.
I have spent the last year working on a behaviour and training college course, that has dipped into canine genetics and evolution, confirming the raw diet theory. I have also spent the last two years reading, listening and learning from books, internet lists, hoping to gain enough confidence to stop vaccinating and feed raw!!!!
What I want to share with you is the CHC Foundation Certificate. I am a different person since going to Catherine's. I can talk about vaccines, I have now decided I WILL NEVER vaccinate my dogs again. They have been fed raw since the day I came home (about 4/5 weeks now). They love it, I love it...
I am sure there is a saying that knowledge is power...... Well my god did I feel powerful when I came home. I have been boring the pants off family, friends, even my work mates with dogs, telling them about vaccines, the damage they do etc and the bonuses of raw feeding. I am due to go to the vets (as you all know) where I know I am going to have to talk about vaccines; Kally is 4 months over due!!!!! For once I am not worried about speaking to the vet! I got scared into vaccinating last year, I won't be scared now.
I have read Catherine’s book twice now because, I know the more I remember and commit to this small brain I have the more I can tell people about. Catherine told us that we may already know some of the information in the course but writing it down makes us commit it to our memories. That is such a TRUE statement.
I go to dog shows, with the Scottish Staffie Rescue to fundraise. I talk to people about alternative therapies but get embarrassed because I do not feel confident enough to speak about it. I still lack confidence, but I know more so that confidence is growing. I am hoping to take Catherine's leaflets with me to those shows now and hand them out to whoever will listen.
I have NEVER written a post this long before on ANY list I am on. I want to urge you ALL (regardless of current knowledge) to join Catherine and take part in her course. We can together educate a nation (or 10). It will take time but the more we learn and the more we share, the better our dogs’ lives will be. On my new soapbox! We have to open CHC out, so we can touch more people, help more dogs.
I feel a bit silly for sending this, I have not had a dog that has died of vaccine reactions, or one that has suffered terribly BUT I care about dogs and want them to live a life they deserve. Hope you all jump on a worthy bandwagon and go for it - do the course. It is worth every minute, every penny.
Love
Lorna Hudson
I attended the Foundation Course at Penkridge on 2/3 October. As someone who already feeds raw food and does not vaccinate, I confess I wondered whether the course would have much to offer me. How wrong I was!!!
I knew vaccinations were not necessary from the perspective of duration of immunity; now I know why they are so dangerous to long term health and the extent to which we as pet owners, and parents, have been duped by the establishment. Quite frankly some of the information presented was terrifying!!
I knew about hereditary conditions and screening programmes; now I know about the influence of nutrition and vaccines in relation to genetic inheritance and how ill health can pass down through the generations.
One thing I did not know much about was some of the complementary therapies that are often mentioned, EFT for example. I found this section of the course extremely interesting and the demonstration proved to me how powerful these therapies can be. I want to know more, to find out how these therapies can help the animals in my care.
If any of you are thinking about doing the course, stop thinking and go for it - you won't regret it and your animals will be better for it.
Thank you Catherine, for extending my knowledge and opening a few more doors in my mind. I have now started a new chapter in "the book".
