Foundation in Canine Healthcare
A two day lecture and home study course.
The Foundation in Canine Healthcare is aimed at helping you to take good care of your dogs. This programme also has another aim, and this is to build a worldwide network of Animal Advocates – people who understand the scientific and experiential facts about canine healthcare, and who are not influenced by the advertising propaganda of big business.

According to the Veterinary Surgeon’s Act (UK), only a qualified veterinarian may treat an animal. However, there is a great deal you can do as an informed animal guardian to ensure that:
- you understand the medication choices
- you are able to weigh the risks versus the benefits of treatment
- you are able to discuss safer alternatives with your vet
- you are able to administer basic first aid to your pet
- you know when a vet consult is mandatory
The Foundation in Canine Healthcare educational programme has been developed so that animal guardians take back their power and, acting within the law, honour the trust that their friends place in them.
Vets are telling pet owners that annual vaccination is necessary. It is not, and we will explain why it’s not, and why it can be harmful. Armed with this knowledge, you will be able to help your animals with confidence.
This educational programme is free of commercial sponsorship so that we are free to give you the science and the evidence without the commercial spin. Your dog and cat will thank you for attending. Proper nutrition is the cornerstone of good health. If you get this part right, and refrain from over-vaccinating, then you will rarely need to see the vet.
